Tina has practiced counseling for over 10 years, and started her career to further pursue her interest in human behavior and how the brain works. After she began practicing, she quickly learned how rewarding it is to see someone's life improve and for that person to progress to where they no longer need their therapist.
She has worked extensively with SED children, SMI adults, and is trained in Why Try, PCIT (Parent Child Interaction Treatment) as well as the A-CRA (Adolescent-Community Resource) approaches. She has also worked with participants dealing with suicidality and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) for several years as a crisis clinician. She is a person-centered practitioner who takes a collaborative, conversational approach, letting the participant steer the ship while she watches for icebergs with a goal of them steering on their own after course of care has been complete.
